Wednesday Trend Day: Mules

This season, the mule has returned, once again, to the fashion-scene. The 70's inspired slipper appears in different kind of forms. From snake skin to clog-alike, here are six great pairs you can wear during a nice sunny day, or on your next hot holiday.

Wednesday Trend Day: Flared jeans

It's safe to say these 70's style pants are making a comeback. Lately I've been seeing them more often and I have to admit I kinda like them. I might have to get a pair on my next shopping trip. What I really like is how they visually lengthen your legs. Plus if you combine a pair of flared jeans with a classic white shirt it will look superclassy. So how about it, does this retro revival make your vintage heart melt? Let me know in the comment section below.

Faux fur gilet

I'm kind of obsessed with this new black faux fur gilet. It's warm and gives your look a nice edgy touch. I'm a real faux fur lover, so I bought it also in a melange beige color. The fun thing about a gilet (fur or not fur) is that it's chic enough to wear it to a meeting at work, and cool enough to wear it for drinks after-work. Have a nice day!

Black White Grey

My favorite T-shirt in my closet is this white one with cutouts. I like to wear it with a black lace triangle bralette and some beautiful statement earrings I got for Christmas. As you know I'm pretty obsessed with leather pants, and well I bought this new one a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn't leave it hanging there :D. Have a nice day!

Loo.

Cozy fluffy cardigan

Here's a quick post before heading to school. Hope you all had a nice weekend and a fun Halloween! My outfit for today contains 2 things I love wearing this season: a turtle neck and a great fluffy cardigan. The dress I found last year at H&M and the cardigan I bought this month at JBC. Wish you all a good Monday!

Sweet kisses,
Loo

New in oversized cardigan

Hey guys! Here's a quick post before heading to school. I'm wearing a blue jeans, a white top by Zara and this new in oversized cardigan from Primark. I really like it because it's so comfortable, but still looks elegant and chic with these pumps. Hope you like it!

DIY Off the shoulder top

I've been for some days in Leuven too chill, shop and enjoy the last week of holiday before school re-begins. Yesterday I did a little shopping and scored a faux fur coat, which I can't wait to wear in Winter. It is a definite musthave for this season.
The look I wore yesterday: a black coated skinny jeans, a statement necklace and a DIY top. You can find the link to the DIY here by the amazing Geneva Vanderzeil of the blog A pair & a spare. I really enjoyed making it, and thought it would be nice to share with you.

Sweet kisses,
Loo.

Have a nice day!

Railway station

Hey guys!

Over the weekend, we took a visit to the Waterloo flea market and the food market. I wasn't looking for anything specific; I just love the atmosphere there. The look I was wearing is also quite vintage. The shirt was my grandma's and the skirt is an old one of my mom. The cardigan I bought two years ago in Italy. I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Forester

Please excuse the lateness of this post today. I was meaning to post this morning, but I had to go to my grandma's old home to move some stuff with my sister. It turned out to be a fun morning and shooting day. Later on I'm going to a dinner. We will eat cheese fondue, nyum nyum :). Have a nice weekend!

Loo

Chapel

Here is my outfit from yesterday. The look I wore: a black maxi skirt from H&M, a little DIY crop top and my Scotch & Soda necklace. I always try to combine this long black skirt with something less covered; else I get the feeling I look like a nun, haha. We took these pictures at the little chapel you always see in the back of my photos.

Anise green

This morning I saw an episode of Scandal. The personages all wear elegant, chic and classic clothes. It inspired me, so I put on my classic shirt with a beautiful flower print. Combined with this anise green pants the shirt looks classy and stylish but not old-fashioned.

Liebster award - First nomination

First of all I want to thank Beauty Full Sparx for nominating me for the Liebster award! I will answer her questions, and than I will nominate 11 other new bloggers with less than 200 followers whom I'll give 11 new questions.

The questions from Beautyfull Sparx were:

1) What is your most treasured beauty product that you repurchase over and over again?
I like wearing lipstick so I have to say my 2B Lipstick nr. 18 Violet Flame. I’m not such a make-up girl, but a nice lipstick I love to wear. It makes your look more special.

2) How did you get into blogging?
I love reading blogs. And than one day I thought that’s what I want to do. Posting some looks and trends to keep the readers up to date of fashion. There aren’t a lot of fashionbloggers in my neighborhood so I thought it would be nice for some people.

3) What beauty bloggers are the biggest inspiration to you?I like Keiko Lynn, the blog has a fresh and fun touch. She has also a nice style.
Secondly I like The Beauty Department . She has some really nice hair tutorials.

4) What do you find to be the most difficult thing about blogging?
I think to find time to sit down en write. It’s sometimes difficult with school and work. But I manage to do it because I really love blogging, especially in the weekend with a nice cup of coffee.

5) Which make-up brand, if you had to pick just one, is your stand out favourite?I don’t really have one favourite make-up brand, because I don’t use it that much. But if I really have to choose I think L’oréal.

6) If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you spent money on?
A nice trip to New york and a month later a trip to California! I would love to go to the States.

7) What would be your ideal job? Are you already doing it?
To be a famous personal stylist and blogger, and that I can go to all fashion weeks and events.

8) What is your earliest memory?
That’s a difficult question. Maybe my first dance performance. I used to dance a lot. I started when I was three.

9) What was the last book you read?
I’m not a book reader, haha. So I have to say Vogue magazine.

10) Do you have a fitness routine? If so, what does it involve?I don’t have a fitness routine. I tried to swim a lot during my holiday in France. What I do sometimes is sit-ups. You should try to make the alphabet with your legs without stopping. It is so hard!!

11) What is your guilty pleasure?
Keeping up with the Kardashions. Haha I think it is so funny. Especially Kourtney. She has such a dry humor.

Those were my answers to her questions. I hope it was a bit interesting. Maybe it was a good way to know me a little better. Now I will give the questions for my nominees:

1. Which blogger do you admire the most?

2. What is the most beautiful place you have ever been to?

3. What are your favourite stores to shop?

4. What is your favourite item in your closet?

5. How would you describe your style?

6. What’s your favourite post that you’ve written?

7. Tea or coffee?

8. How did you pick your blog’s name?

9. What is your favourite TV-show?

10. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

11. Who is your most inspiring fashion icon?

Little hearts

Here's a quick post of an outfit I wore yesterday. These shorts are so cute with the little hearts on it. I combined it with an embroidered top from Zara and a bunch of rings on my fingers.

Sweet kisses,
Loo.

The leather jacket

Today I'm wearing a quite casual outfit. This leather jacket is one of my favorites. It's from the collection 'Versace for H&M'.
The day the collection was for sale, I went at 5 AM to the store, and waited there with a friend. The piece I really wanted was this jacket, but I never thought I would get it. If you went to one before.... you know what I mean. It is just crazy!
When it was our turn in the line, I went for it! Of course I was to late. The lady before me had taken it ... So I asked her if she would want to switch it with a bigger size that I had in my hands.  First she didn't want to listen, but at the end, we switched them, and we were both happy with our jacket.
It was a real funny adventure. A tip: hold your piece very tight, act tough and be quick, because everyone turns into little shopmonsters on such sales.

Kisses,
Loo
