Westminster

We took these pictures on Sunday when my family was here. We went to Westminster to visit  Westminster Abbey, the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace ... All typical touristy places, but oh so beautiful!! I was wearing my Zara flared jeans, and combined it with a striped T-shirt from H&M and my Mango leather black jacket. Have a nice weekend babies!!

Portobello Road Market

Last weekend, my family came to visit me in London. On Saturday we went to Portobello Market in Notting Hill. It is a long and busy market with all vintage things, street artists, food and drinks. The market is open every day, so if you're not into big crowds DON'T go on Saturdays. The houses in the street are adorable, especially with their different colors. So charming and lovely.
A bit thirsty, we went to the MAUMAU Bar, where upcoming and new music artists can perform and show their stuff.  It's a fun, youthful and relaxed bar with great music. So if you want to show your talent in London, it is the place to be!

London Calling

My apologies for the silence on my blog these past few weeks, but I have some great news! I was moving to London and now I'm totally settled in the city! I'm staying here for a few months with my boyfriend. He is interning, and I'm working in retail. Last weekend we went to visit Buckingham Palace and Green Park. London has so many beautiful parks, it's amazing. I really love this city. It is so big and has many qualities.

Wednesday Trend Day: The Overall

The denim overall is a real must have this Spring and Summer! The trend screams the 90's.
I was wearing this garment when I was 4 and loved it back then. Now I'm supporting this trend again, and should buy the perfect one very soon. For Belgians it's still a bit cold for the short version, but hey, the hot weather is finally making its entrance this week!!

Faux fur gilet

 

I'm kind of obsessed with this new black faux fur gilet. It's warm and gives your look a nice edgy touch. I'm a real faux fur lover, so I bought it also in a melange beige color. The fun thing about a gilet (fur or not fur) is that it's chic enough to wear it to a meeting at work, and cool enough to wear it for drinks after-work. Have a nice day!

This is what I wore on New Year's Eve: A checkered pants and a crop top with a turtleneck from New Look, a black classic blazer from H&M and an embellished shoulder-bag. The look was quite formal and suit-like. I hope you guys like the outfit, and wish you all a happy weekend!
